Even though many people depend on the earnings of Google Adsense and many has been paid by Google yet complaints against Google are pouring in. So what I wonder is that has Google adsense been fair to all?
Around the World many people receive paychecks from Google for earnings from their Adsense accounts and depend very much on those earnings therefore. So they add more websites and blogs and other sites that support Google Adsense revenue share model to add up their earnings. Thus Google Adsense overtime has become one of the most popular ways of earning from Internet.
Since writing sites like Triond and Bukisa use the revenue share model of Google Adsense so I signed up for an Adsense account and added my Triond and Bukisa accounts to it and also my blog later to it.
After that I searched Google one day to see what people had to say about Google Adsense to my amazement I found complaints against Google Adsense pouring in. Majority of the complaints stated that their adsense accounts were disabled just before receiving a paycheck from Google. So that is a loss of about 100 dollars!
I know that Google has very strict rules to save the interests of their advertisers since they are the one who are paying the money and if you violate any of those rules then your account will be terminated. Therefore many of those complainants I guess have either clicked those ads themselves or used other dishonest ways to create more clicks and hence the earnings. But there was more to this story as the complaints were just too many and many of them seemed genuine.
I asked this question in Mylot and found some members there as well who were denied payment the wrong way. Next I asked some of my fellow online writers on another site where I write and was more surprised to find the same things happening again.
Now those who have got payment from Google would like me to believe that all those people had violated the rules some way or the other and Google adsense was not at fault in any way but I disagree with that point of opinion. From the kind of people I received negative feedbacks and considering the amount of negative feedbacks there were against Google adsense it can surely be said that Google is not totally honest with their payment system.
Since Google has become this huge giant like so it is kind of a monopoly and it doesn’t bother to explain anybody its proper reasoning behind such decisions and particularly in cases where the persons concerned haven’t been given a fair trial even. It doesn’t matter to Google about those negative feedbacks, as at the end of the day they would get more than enough people to support their adsense business. So they mostly don’t even reply to complaints.
I seriously hope this snobbish attitude would be brought down to earth by the rise of equally good competitors as this kind of monopoly is the breeding ground of exploitation and Google is no saint in that regard. But sadly that is not happening anytime and soon.
I am trying out Chitika ads on my Bukisa account but the preliminary results don’t appear that much promising. But still I will use other options where there is available after what I have learnt of adsense as there is no point in wasting so much effort and losing out on the money.
I don’t know how Google chooses its victims as there are certainly no dearths of payment proofs but I certainly don’t want to figure on that dreaded list. Even though lots of people have accused Google of scamming them but I’d rather say that Google Adsense has not been fair to all.
